Six-week course focuses on positivity
The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) will present “How Happiness Thinks: Jewish Perspectives on Positive Psychology” beginning Nov. 4.
Rabbi Levi Azimov of Chabad Jewish Center of South Brunswick will conduct the six-course sessions 7:45-9:15 p.m. Tuesdays at the Chabad Jewish Center of South Brunswick, 1 Riva Ave., North Brunswick.
The course is based on the science behind positive psychology, and how people innately understand that to be happy and to have a positive attitude can greatly impact their work and personal life, according to a press release.
“How Happiness Thinks” is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. All JLI courses are open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue, temple or other house of worship.
