Chabad hosts Kabbalah course for East Hanover

EAST HANOVER TWP. ‑ Chabad of Southeast (SE) Morris County will begin a new Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) course on Wednesday, Oct. 24, “The Kabbalah of You: A Guide to Unlocking Your Hidden Potential.”

The six-week course will meet on six consecutive Wednesdays beginning Oct 24 at the Chabad Center at 42 Park Ave. in Madison. The course will be taught at two convenient times, from noon to 1:15 p.m. and from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

“The Kabbalah of You” was created by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute- an internationally acclaimed adult education program running on over 300 cities worldwide, which boast over 75,000 students. Topics discussed include: Joy, Faithfulness, Goodness, and Humanity, and each lesson provides an opportunity to question, discuss, and argue, based on principle and precedent.

“The Kabbalah of You” is designed for people at all levels of Jewish knowledge. Participants don’t have to have any prior experience or background in Jewish learning to attend and enjoy this course. Additionally, all JLI courses are open to the entire Jewish community and people from all backgrounds and affiliations are welcome.

The course fee is $75 for registration by Monday, Oct. 15, which includes the course workbook and all materials. All attendees are welcome to attend the first class on Oct 24 free of charge. There is also a special couple’s rate of $100.
