 Chabad hosts Torah seminar

The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute will present a six-week seminar, "Toward a Meaningful Life: A Soul-Searching Journey," at Chabad Jewish Center for six consecutive weeks, beginning at 7 p.m. Feb. 9.

"Day after day, life can be a treadmill, as we go through the motions without asking why or seeking what really matters to us," according to a written statement by Laguna Chabad Rabbi Eli Goorevitch. "This course offers recipes, tips, and techniques for not only discovering where your true meaning lies, but in actually making it a part of your daily existence. These sessions will help you see life as the mysterious, challenging, and satisfying wonder that it really is."

The seminars are designed for people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. The courses are open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue or temple. For more information, call (949) 499-0770 or visit http://www.myJLI.com. Chabad Jewish Center is at 30804 Coast Hwy., Laguna Beach.
