SCRANTON - Jewish Discover Center and the Scranton Jewish Community Center teamed up to offer a six-week educational series on ethics and economics.

The Jewish Learning Institute course "Money Matters: Jewish Business Ethics" will be offered at both the Jewish Discover Center in Clarks Summit on Tuesday evenings and the JCC in Scranton at noon Wednesdays. Both start next week.

"The recent failures in the financial industry have drastically changed the way we think about business," said Rabbi Benny Rapoport, an instructor. "At JLI, we deeply believe that business should be a force for good, and that's why we're presenting students with timeless Talmudic insights into real-world ethical dilemmas."

The six-session series is accredited for nine PA CLE credits. People may register at www.myJLI.com.
