'Journey of Soul' begins Oct. 27

Rabbi Shmuli Friedman, program director at Chabad of Cleveland in Beachwood, will teach a course titled “Journey of the Soul: Life, Death and What Lies Beyond” starting Oct. 27 at the Jewish Learning Institute, 25400 Fairmount Blvd. in Beachwood.

The purpose of the course is to dispel misconceptions and confusion about the Jewish belief of souls, death, afterlife and reincarnation.

The class schedule has two options: six Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 27, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., or six Wednesdays, starting Oct. 28, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The lecture series is accredited by the Washington School of Psychiatry for medical and mental health professionals to earn continuing education credits.

The fee is $79, or $65 if you bring a friend.
