WILMINGTON -- Chabad of Wilmington will offer"The Jewish Course of Why," a six-part session on the most-often asked questions about Judaism.

Developed by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute, the course is based on a survey of 30,000 adult learners based on their biggest questions about Judaism.

According to Rabbi Moshe Y. Lieblich of Chabad, topics range from why Jews eat gefilte fish to why there are so many Jews in Hollywood, to deeper questions, such as why the Bible seems to sanction slavery and animal sacrifice.

The class will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Feb. 10 at Chabad of Wilmington, 2714 Market St. Fee is $80, including textbook; couples receive a $20 discount.
