PALO ALTO, CA — A Jewish nonprofit organization in Palo Alto will offer courses this fall addressing antisemitism.

Titled "Outsmarted Antisemitism," the online courses at Chabad Palo Alto will be taught by Rabbi Yosef Levin and take place over four weeks from Nov. 3 to Dec. 1. The courses are from the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.

The courses will address issues like why antisemitism persists using "history, Talmudic sources, Jewish mysticism, and contemporary expert analysis," according to a news release.

"Many Jews are anxious about rising antisemitism today and worry about how to respond to it," said Rabbi Ber Rosenblat, the local JLI coordinator. "By exploring the mechanics of antisemitism and probing historical strategies for reducing it, this course offers a framework for confronting it head-on with purpose, positivity, and pride."

The courses are open to the public and designed for students at all levels of knowledge, including those without a background in Jewish learning, according to a news release. Attendees do not need to be affiliated with a synagogue or church.

Prices for the course range between $29 and $99. Click here for more information.
