Continuing Education

ACCREDITATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS
General Information

The Course
Communication: Its Art and Soul, a six-week continuing education course is brought by The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute in partnership with The Washington School of Psychiatry. The course draws on scientific research and classic Jewish thought, to offer insights and strategies for effective interpersonal communication.

The course has particular relevance for clinicians seeking to help clients to succeed in their relationships, professions and social contexts. Framing psychological models within the context of the Jewish worldview can help providers understand and respond to Jewish clients’ spiritual and religious beliefs and cultural norms.
