Record Numbers To Attend Retreat

The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute has received a record number of registered participants for its annual National Jewish Retreat, taking place August 16th-21st.

So far, over 950 people have signed up for the Retreat, now in its 11th year.

West Coast shluchim are very excited to have the Retreat in their own backyard at the luxurious JW Marriott in Palm Springs, California. This year’s roster of speakers features such notable National Jewish Retreat regulars as Rabbi Moshe Bryski, RabbiYitzchok Shochet, Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Rabbi Yossi Jacobson, Rabbi David Aaron, and Dennis Prager. Participants are also looking forward to a special Dudu Fisher concert.

Shluchim Meet at JLI Conference

400 Shluchim from around the world attended the 18th annual JLI – Jewish Learning Institute conference, networking and gaining insight and inspiration.

On Rosh Chodesh Tammuz July 7th, over 400 shluchim from around the world attended the 18th annual JLI Conference at the Garden City Hotel on Long Island.

The largest in JLI’s history, the conference brought shluchim together to cross-pollinate ideas, network and gain new insights and tips related to Mivtza Torah around the world.

Alongside the sessions and workshops was the first-ever JLI expo, featuring dozens of booths displaying the multitude of educational offerings, curricula, products available from JLI and other mosdos. Continue reading
